I’m so glad you’re back, I love your podcast. The feed from iTunes is not working, and I get an error opening the file directly from your podbean.com site. Just wanted to let you know.

I’m delighted that you’re back, but I’m having problems downloading the cast at the moment. Tsk!

  3. susetheslowknitta Says:

and now its downloaded and I’ve enjoyed it so much. Wine reviews, what a great idea!

  4. Lisa Risager Says:

Your pronounciation of Kauni is just perfect! But moebius should be /ˈmoʊbiəs/ in English, [ˈmøːbiʊs] in German)

    Love your podcast!

  5. Lisa Risager Says:

Oh, one more: Wollmeise is something like ‘Vol-my-sə’ (and no, I’m not a schoolmam I’m just…..)

I must be thicker than worsted weight - I still can’t understand Sock Wars! From what I can gather it involves ‘pressure knitting’ - my least favourite kind. Having finished Ravelympics with a few minutes to spare and unable to pick up sticks for a week afterwards I know of what I speak.

You can actually get some fabric that is clear. They use it a lot to make travel bags for toiletries so you can see where your toothbrush is. I am sure you could find it somewhere. That is a very good idea for a knitting bag. i just have to dump everything out of mine to find the needle at the bottom.

So glad that you’re back! I enjoy your podcast a lot, it is very original and unique - not like any other podcasts I listen to, and there are a lot! Looking forward to hearing more. :)

  9. Cathy Says:

YEAH!!! You’re back. I enjoyed the wine pairings immensely.

It was a great podcast and I’m so glad you’re doing the podcast again.

As far as bags go, you are NOT crazy for wanting a bag that has a window. Sounds wonderful. Let us know if you find one.

Also, I use HUGE bags that i can throw a ton of stuff in at once. I just bought a bag at Stitches Midwest from Blue Kitty Designs. It’s huge and has lots of pockets. She also carries a variety of project bag sizes and notions bags too!

Hi, Lixie, I enjoy your podcast! I too need more project bags and will be watching the evolution of your thinking on this. Time to dust off the sewing machine, I guess. As to blogs, I wonder if you are familiar with this one: www.lushknits.com.

  12. Philhellene Says:

The wine/wool tasting with Pooch was hilarious, I really enjoyed listening to this episode, congrats to you both. Philhellene

    Hey!

Love the podcast its great to get a European view on knitting. I also loved the section on project bags I need a good new one that my needles cannot poke holes through!

Happy to have you back!! yeah!!

Let me know how your sock pouch with the ‘window’ works out - my husband needs a case for his sculpting tools, which are double ended, and I was thinking of trying a see-through material approach so he could see both ends.

The sock wars I hear are brutal - Cat from “let’s knit together” a video podcast has an entire episode about it - It sounds fun, but I don’t knit that fast!

Good to hear from pooch again too - and what goes better with knitting than wine!

  15. Dawn Says:

Glad to hear you back on the air. My favorite non-clear knitting bags are from White Willow http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=40138. My favorite clear knitting bags are from The Loopy Ewe. http://www.theloopyewe.com/browse/bags-totes/the-loopy-ewe-totes/ I have all the sizes and love them.
